In celebration of the winter solstice, join us in making lanterns to light. You may bring your own jar and tea light for your lantern – additional materials provided.

Admission is free. Donations are appreciated, with proceeds going towards the CVAG Make Art Program. All ages. Children must be accompanied.

Elevate Winter Bazaar – 9-5
Join us for this day long bazaar filled with unique creations, from the intriguing to the unusual and from the inspiring to the challenging! This busy and festive event also features decadent food and drink, music, workshops, facepainting and a relaxed and moody lounge area for craft fair goers. Admission is by donation to Elevate projects! Come celebrate in the deep dark belly of the Lower Native Sons Hall.

Celebrate a Life & Blue Christmas Service
Comox United Church – 250 Beach Drive – Comox

This service is a sharing of readings, musical offerings, and prayers if you so wish, with a non-denominational tone. People of any or no faith are welcome.

There will be opportunities to remember a loved one who has died with the lighting of a candle, the hanging of a memorial tag on the Christmas tree, and the writing of a few words in a special memorial book.

Everyone knows that, each Christmas, Santa Claus delivers presents to every last child on Earth. What everyone doesn’t know is that Santa accomplishes the feat with a very high-tech operation beneath the North Pole. But when the unthinkable happens, and Santa misses one child out of hundreds of millions, someone has to save the day. It’s up to Arthur (James McAvoy), Santa’s youngest son, to deliver a present to the forgotten tyke before Christmas morning dawns.
